The United States of America (USA)
But we're here to learn about the United States of America (the USA).
Chicago, Illinois
Gran was born near a big city called Chicago which is on the shores of one of the Great Lakes:
Actually the lake called Lake Michigan:
Can you see Chicago, down at the bottom of Lake Michigan?
Chicago is actually in the state of Illinois:
When Gran was five years old, she lived in this house in the suburbs of Chicago.
Lots of things, but today we're going to talk about just three things.
The first thing we're going to talk about today is the baseball team called the Chicago Cubs, who play in a stadium called Wrigley Field. This video gives you and idea of baseball:
Another thing that Chicago is famous for is its elevated railway, called the "L".
And the other thing you might enjoy is Millennium Park:
Florida
But that's enough of Chicago, now we're going to Florida, where Gran's mom lived, and where Gran and Grampa lived every winter. You can also ask your mummy about it, because she visited there, too.
It was in a place called Apopka. Here's Gran's mummy's house.

But there's more to the Everglades that alligators. How many different animals and birds can you count in this video?
And did you know that the Go Jetters have been to the Everglades? You can watch their programme here.
