Geography Projects for Isaac to do

Here are some America projects for you.

1. Can you get mummy and daddy to have a game of rounders or baseball with you in the field behind your house?  All you need is something to use as a bat, and a ball.

If you want to know more about baseball, these two videos might help.

2 Can you draw a baseball ️ "diamond"?

3 Can you use your train set and tracks to make an elevated railway like the Chicago "L"?  Maybe you could use some cardboard boxes to make to supports.  

4 Chicago has lots of very tall buildings, called "sky scrapers".  Can you draw the Chicago skyline, like this?

5 Can you make a model rocket  like they have at Kennedy Space Centre?  Here's the biggest, the Saturn 5, that sent the astronauts to the moon.

6 Can you draw the Rocket Garden at Kennedy?

7 In Florida they have VERY FAST boats called Air Boats.  This is on Lake Apopka, where Gran & Grampa used to live.    Ask gran to tell you about this map.

Can you tell Crocy a story about going on an airboat ride, like they did in the Go Jetters Everglades story?  Can you draw an airboat?

8 What animals did you learn about in the Everglades?  Can you draw any of them?

9 Ask mummy if she knows anyone who has been to White Sands, and what else they did whilst in New Mexico.  Does she have any photos?  Did she have a good time?

10 We talked about the Great Lakes.  Ask Grandma Sheila if she knows how the water gets from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario.  Can she find you any pictures?  Ask mummy if she's ever been there.  She has ... but she was smaller than an ant at the time!
